Arsenal fans are desperate for Martin Odegaard to stay at the club having made a big impact since arriving on loan in January.
The Gunners pounced to land Odegaard until the end of the season having found first-team action hard to come by at Real Madrid.
Odegaard was a little slow to get going at Arsenal, but is now turning in consistently excellent performances for Mikel Arteta’s side.
After goals against Olympiacos and Tottenham Hotspur, Odegaard was influential in Arsenal’s comeback against West Ham United on Sunday, dictating the game after going 3-0 down.
Keeping Odegaard would be the ideal start to the summer for Arsenal, but much will depend on what Real want to do with the playmaker.
Right now, the 22-year-old is off on international duty with Norway, and that means teaming up with Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Haaland has now told The Mirror that he just thinks Odegaard needs minutes to play at his best, and thinks Arsenal just need to leave him in their line-up now.
Haaland added that ‘incredible things’ happen when Odegaard gains confidence, and Arsenal are now seeing that with his displays in recent games.
“You need minutes,” said Haaland. “All they have to do is put him in the line-up and leave him to play. We know how good Odegaard can be. When he gains confidence with the ball, you know incredible things can happen,” he added.
