Erling Haaland loves Leeds United and he chatted about the Elland Road club with Liverpool ace James Milner on Sunday afternoon.
Milner started at right back for Liverpool as they took on rivals Manchester City at Anfield.
That may have been a big concern for Liverpool fans, especially after Phil Foden ripped him apart in the same fixture last season.
Milner was outstanding though and made a big impact as Liverpool kept a clean sheet in a huge 1-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s men.

Erling Haaland loves Leeds United
Milner therefore went up against Erling Haaland and the pair share something – their love for Leeds United.
Milner was born and bred in Leeds, coming up through the club’s ranks before leaving for Newcastle United in 2004.
It may have slipped the radar but Haaland was also born in Leeds.
The Norwegian striker is the son of former Leeds star Alf Inge Haaland and was born in West Yorkshire during his father’s time at Elland Road.
Haaland has previously admitted that he loves Leeds and Milner has opened up about the subject.
Milner spoke to Jan Age Fjortoft for Viaplay after the final whistle on Sunday and the Norwegian unsurprisingly brought up Haaland.
Milner claims that Haaland told him that he would join Leeds when they played each other years ago, presumably when Red Bull Salzburg visited Anfield in 2019.
The veteran joked that Haaland was ‘obviously lying’ about that and admitting that it’s disappointing to see him playing for City rather than Leeds.
Milner added that the pair did have a chat about Leeds as they shared their love for the club.
“I can confirm that he said he was going to sign for Leeds a few years ago when we played against him,” joked Milner. “He was obviously lying, so that’s disappointing.”
“We had a little chat, yeah,” he added.
It’s a shame that Leeds fans won’t get to see Milner and Haaland together at Leeds barring a bizarre turn of events, but who knows – maybe Milner will go into coaching at Leeds and end up managing a veteran Haaland down the line?
That would be quite the sight for Leeds supporters.
