Tottenham are being linked with two big transfers. One is a bigger priority than the other.

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to make two record signings this summer, The Mail reported, amid interest in Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
Of the two players, Ndombele is easily the biggest priority.
Lo Celso was being lined up as a replacement for Christian Eriksen, who has just one year left on his contract.
The Telegraph reported yesterday that his dream move to Real Madrid is unlikely to materialise and he is now considering signing a new deal.
Football.London report the club are preparing a £200,000 per week offer.
This takes the pressure off Tottenham to sign Lo Celso if Eriksen extends his offer. He would obviously benefit the team, but the urgency to spend £70 million will be gone. Spurs could look at a cheaper alternative.

Tottenham have no in-house option to cause them to back off signing Tanguy Ndombele.
The need for Ndombele is obvious after they sold Mousa Dembele in January.
Even considering the way Moussa Sissoko stepped up this season, the Frenchman turns 30 in August and Ndombele is only 22.
With Lo Celso currently also at the Copa America, it’s obvious Spurs should be focusing on Ndombele first, and seeing if they can persuade Eriksen to extend his contract in the meantime.
