Erik Sviatchenko is a former Celtic player.

Sviatchenko has also said that he was a success during his time at Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.
The 27-year-old central defender joined the Hoops from Midtjylland in January 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.5 million.
The Denmark international returned to Midtjylland on loan from Celtic in January 2018, and the move was made permanent in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £1 million.
Sviatchenko told The Daily Mail regarding his departure from Celtic: “Who knows? Maybe in two or three years’ time I will sit down with Brendan for a coffee and ask what I should have done differently.
“It was difficult to go from being such a big success at a club to being effectively a nothing.”
The defender added: “My dream would be to play for Celtic again. But it’s not up to me. It’s up to the manager and the board. They know me and they know what I am capable of.”

Return unlikely?
Celtic could do with signing an experienced central defender in the January transfer window, but it is unlikely that manager Brendan Rodgers will bring him back to Celtic Park.
After all, it was the former Liverpool manager who decided to let Sviatchenko leave the Hoops in the first place.
Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership and have also progressed to the round of 32 of the Europa League this season.
