Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has sent a message of support to new interim boss Ryan Mason.
The chaos at Tottenham continues.
It wasn’t enough for Antonio Conte to part ways with the club after blasting his own players.
It wasn’t enough for director of football Fabio Paratici to leave the club after being hit with a worldwide ban by FIFA.
Tottenham just had to add another layer of mayhem by losing 6-1 at Newcastle United having been 5-0 down after 21 minutes.
That meant Daniel Levy has now taken the unprecedented step of sacking his interim boss as well, with Stellini let go on Monday.
Tottenham now have a new interim boss as Ryan Mason will take charge until the end of the season – barring another change anyway.
Mason has already done this role before but is now charged with the task of resurrecting Tottenham’s top four hopes – and stopping the chaos.

Erik Lamela sends message to Ryan Mason
Mason certainly has Tottenham at heart and will have the support of a disgruntled fanbase.
Mason has also received a supportive message from ex-Tottenham wide man Erik Lamela.
The Argentinian played with Mason at Tottenham and even featured under the Englishman in 2021.
Now with Sevilla, Lamela took to Twitter to respond after seeing Mason reflect on the privilege of managing Tottenham.
Lamela offered a six-word message for Mason, simply saying ‘Let’s go Ryan! All the best!’.
The former Roma star may have left Tottenham nearly two years ago now but it’s clear that Spurs are still close to his heart.
Lamela and Sevilla beat Manchester United last Thursday night to dump them out of the Europa League.
Tottenham must now try and do the same this week, with Lamela no doubt paying attention and cheering on Mason from Andalusia.
