The Tottenham Hotspur winger took to social media on Friday afternoon.
Erik Lamela has taken to Twitter to express his delight at Tottenham’s ‘amazing’ kit for next season.
The north London outfit recently announced the shirt their players will be wearing next term.
And Spurs fans have been quick to mock the new strip, according to the London Evening Standard, but the Argentine likes what he sees (or was he just told to like it!?).
Perhaps a more pertinent issue is whether Lamela will be at Tottenham next season – and his declaration of support for the new kit suggests he may well be.
It isn’t much to go on, of course, but the 23-year-old’s improved recent form will certainly give his supporters some overdue hope.
The Daily Mirror recently suggested both Lamela and Roberto Soldado will be moved out of White Hart Lane this summer but the Argentine has been one of the north London side’s best players since.
That isn’t saying all that much, with Spurs looking dreadful in recent weeks, especially at Stoke. But Lamela is far ahead of Andros Townsend when it comes to the battle out wide and has at least shown some will and desire.
