Tottenham Hotspur star Erik Lamela is back to full fitness.

The 25-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, returned to action three months ago after a long time on the sidelines.
The Argentina international has outlined how manager Pochettino helped him during his difficult time.
The former AS Roma star has also praised his teammate and star Spurs striker Harry Kane, 24, who scored for the North London outfit in their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League this past Sunday.

Lamela told Reuters: “I was out for a long time and that’s when you realise the kind of person (Pochettino) is. He always backed me when I was frustrated because I couldn’t play.
“Going to training and not being able to do things is not nice, he was always behind me when I was injured and now I’m trying to win my place here because there is very good competition (in the squad).”
The Argentine told Tottenham’s official website about Kane: “We always believed until the end – Harry is amazing and I’m happy for him because he fully deserved the goal.
“How he trains and how he plays, he always puts everything on the pitch so that’s why I’m happy for him and for the three points.”

Important player
Lamela is one of the most talented players in the current Tottenham squad, and the former River Plate star will be important for Spurs in the final weeks and months of the season.
The 25-year-old, who has played a total of 388 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, is not at his best yet, but it is only a matter of time before the attacker gets back into his old rhythm.
