The 25-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has struggled with injury issues during his time at Spurs so far.
The former AS Roma star missed most of the 2016-17 campaign and may not be fit in time for the start of the 2017-18 season.

Lamela is a hugely talented footballer who has been on the books of North London club Tottenham since 2013.

According to Calciomercato.com, Italian giants Inter Milan are interested in signing Lamela from Spurs, who value the Argentine at €25 million (£21.9m).
