The USA international has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Forest fans and the club.
Lichaj has thanked the Forest fans for their support over their past few years and has wished the Reds the best of luck for the future.

Lichaj played well for Forest, and the USA international will be missed by the Reds, who will be aiming to finish in the Championship playoffs next season.
Hull will also have ambitions of clinching a top-six spot in the Championship, although it is going to be hard for the Tigers.
Both Forest and Hull endured a disappointing campaign in the Championship in 2017-18.
