The Lilywhites travel to Manchester City on Saturday in second spot in the Premier League table.
Tottenham Hotpsur man Eric Dier has urged his side to continue their ruthless winning streak, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League visit to Manchester City.
The Spurs defender told the club’s official website he wants his teammates to continue on their current path, improving as they go, with an eye to another shot at the league title in the pipeline.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane scores their third goal
Tottenham extended their run of six wins on the bounce in a 4-0 win versus West Bromwich Albion on Saturday lunchtime, with Harry Kane notching his first hat-trick of the season at White Hart Lane.
Dier has missed just two games this campaign and the Spurs man wants his side to keep the pressure on leaders Chelsea, as Pochettino’s men climb to second spot in the standings.

The Spurs man told tottenhamhotspur.com: “I think we just need to keep going like this, keep wanting to improve and keep this ruthless streak that we’ve got at the moment where we’re not letting up.”
Dier, 23, has been a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s set-up since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, scoring five goals in 84 appearances in North London.
The England international has been the Lilywhites flexible backbone in the team, able to play as full-back, centre-back but primarily as defensive midfielder.

Ahead of Tottenham’s trip to the Etihad this weekend, Dier knows his side must keep up the momentum built up since Christmas and believes they just need to carry one with their gameplan.
“We’re aggressive and we’re on the front foot with and without the ball, says Dier. “We’re doing well with that at the moment and we just really need to stick with that.”
