Michel Vorm has raved about Tottenham Hotspur central defender Eric Dier on Stadium Astro.
The former Spurs goalkeeper has explained why Dier has to be a regular in the Tottenham defence.
The Dutchman has pointed out how the England international, 27, can break language barriers on the pitch.
Vorm has said that Emerson Royal, Cristian Romero, Dier and Sergio Reguilon should be the Tottenham back-four.
The Dutchman said on Stadium Astro: “The good thing with Eric Dier is that he speaks Spanish, he speaks Portuguese, he speaks English, so there’s also an easy thing with Emerson on the right, Romero next to him and Reguilon on the left because the language barrier.
“That’s also a good thing. If they go from there, I think, them four, I think could be a solid defence.”

Eric Dier is very important for Tottenham
Dier is a versatile player who can also operate in defensive midfield.
The 27-year-old, who has played 45 times for England, is now a regular in defence for Spurs.
Now, there have been criticisms of Dier on occasions.
We do not think that Dier is a world-class defender, but, in our view, he is a very capable player.
The Englishman is a leader at the back.
As Vorm points out, being able to speak languages other English on the pitch when his teammates are from Spain, Brazil and Argentina certainly helps.
Tottenham are starting to do well now, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium should be confident of the team finishing in the Premier League top four this season.
