Keown said about Dier: “If I was someone like Dier and not in the squad, I would be immensely disappointed. I think that is a good call. I like seeing Dier back in there.”

Encouraging
Martin Keown is one of the greatest centre-backs in the history of the Premier League, and the Arsenal legend being pleased to see Eric Dier back in the England squad is very encouraging indeed.
Dier has been superb for Tottenham under head coach Antonio Conte.
The Englishman has established himself as a regular in the back-three for Tottenham, and he is also able to operate in a back-four.
If Dier does well for England in the upcoming matches and continues to star for Tottenham in the coming weeks, then he is likely to play for the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
