Arsenal return to action on Tuesday evening with the Champions League now the full focus after a crucial Premier League win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
Arsenal headed to the South Coast on Saturday evening and produced a fine performance in what was being billed as one of their most difficult games in the title run-in.
The Gunners handled the occasion with aplomb and secured a superb 3-0 victory with Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard all on the scoresheet.
Arsenal’s win – coupled with Liverpool only drawing at Manchester United on Sunday – leaves the Gunners top of the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta and co are going for the title but have to shelve those Premier League dreams with Champions League action taking centre stage tonight.
Arsenal welcome Bayern Munich to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash.
A big home win would set Arsenal up perfectly for the second leg in Bavaria and they can pile the misery on Bayern this evening.

Eric Dier on ‘really, really good’ Arsenal ace
Bayern win the league pretty much every year; that is the trend Bundesliga football has taken over the last 25 years.
Since Bayern’s title win in 1999, there have only been six seasons in which Bayern haven’t won the Bundesliga.
Bayern won’t be winning the league this season though with Bayer Leverkusen just one victory away from their first ever Bundesliga title.
This has been a torrid campaign by Bayern’s usual standards; out of the title race and dumped out of the DFB-Pokal by third-tier Saarbrucken.
Some may say that Harry Kane has been a curse on Bayern as they hover over the drain of a trophy-less season, but the truth is that the Thomas Tuchel era has never really got going.
Kane was joined at Bayern by a close friend in January as Eric Dier followed Kane by leaving Tottenham for the German giants.
Dier heads back to London this evening and has given his thoughts on Arsenal – including forward Leandro Trossard.
The Belgian joined Arsenal from Brighton in a £27million deal in January 2023, offering depth to Arteta’s attacking options.
Trossard hasn’t been a nailed-on starter for Arsenal but he has made an impact – and has impressed Dier along the way.
Speaking to The Overlap, Dier has highlighted the pace of both Saka and Gabriel Martinelli whilst suggesting that Trossard has now proven himself as a ‘really, really good player’ at Arsenal.
“I know Bukayo very well and Martinelli, they’ve got great pace on the wings,” said Dier. “Trossard has proved to be a really, really good player there as well, so that’s something we’ll have to pay a lot of attention to,” he added.

Could Trossard start for Arsenal tonight?
Arteta will be weighing up his strikeforce for this evening’s game and has plenty of options at his disposal.
Saka, Havertz and Gabriel Jesus started at Brighton but Trossard offers another option out wide or through the middle.
The 29-year-old scored the crucial goal against Porto in the last round and will be in Arteta’s thoughts tonight.
We would predict that Trossard will start from the bench, but he has often made a big impact as a substitute in an Arsenal shirt.
Dier is clearly wary of Trossard’s quality and will be attempting to nullify him – as well as his Arsenal teammates – when they lock horns at the Emirates Stadium.
