Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier praises Chelsea-owned Crystal Palace midfielder and England international teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Loftus-Cheek, who joined Crystal on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, made his debut for the England national football team against Germany last Friday evening.
The 21-year-old midfielder’s performance for the Three Lions was superb, and his debut display has been widely hailed.
Tottenham star Dier, who can operate as a midfielder or as a defender, has suggested that people should not get carried away with Loftus-Cheek.
The 23-year-old has also outlined the quality of the 21-year-old midfielder.

“Everyone’s known about Ruben’s potential for a long time,” Dier told The Guardian. “It’s great that he’s now playing regular football week in, week out at Crystal Palace.
“That can only allow him to fulfil his potential. Hopefully this [his England debut] is another step in his progression.
“There’s so much more to come from him, but there’s no point getting too carried away at this point. He’s a good boy and he still has a lot to work on, like all of us.”
“He’s a big boy, he’s been the same since he was 12, I think!” added Dier. “He’s strong, he’s got great physicality, and he moves the ball really well. There’s fantastic potential and hopefully he keeps working hard to fulfil it.”

Loftus-Cheek is a player with huge potential, and the comments from Dier show just highly he is rated among his England teammates and rival Premier League players.
The youngster does appear to be the perfect midfield player for Spurs Mauricio Pochettino and would certainly progress under the Argentine boss.
However, it is very unlikely that Chelsea will ever contemplate selling Loftus-Cheek to London rivals Tottenham.
