Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier has raved about his teammate Cristian Romero on the club’s official website.
Dier has said that he is enjoying playing alongside Romero, who joined Tottenham from Atalanta in the summer transfer window.
The Englishman, who can also play as a midfielder, has noted how good Romero is, and how he takes balls away from opposition players.
Dier said: “Cristian looks good, I think he’s going to be a fantastic player for the club. I love the way he plays. It’s enjoyable to watch and he’s enjoyable to play with.
“He’s very aggressive, very much on the front foot and very clever as well, the way he uses his body, the way he reads the game.
“He’s sharp, and so quick to execute. He’s very sneaky in taking the ball away and using different angles.”

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham needed reinforcement at the back after last season, and it made sense for the North London club to bring in Romero.
The 23-year-old is a very good and promising young defender who can only get better.
Also, Romero plays for Argentina, which means he is teammates with the likes of Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria.

That is surely going to have a positive effect on the youngster.
Romero has done well in the Premier League so far this season, and we think that there is more to come from him.
The Tottenham no. 4 has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the league so far this campaign.
The defender has also played once in the Carabao Cup and once in the Europa Conference League this season.
