The former Leeds United player has made an interesting statement that may anger Manchester United fans.

As reported by the Sun, Eric Cantona has named his former Leeds United teammate Gary McAllister as the best footballer he played with during his career.
The comment came during a Q&A at his one-man show, and it is sure to be of interest to Whites fans who remember his time at Elland Road fondly, even if his exit still rankles.
Cantona played 35 matches for Leeds, scoring 14 goals in the process, and he left the club with a First Division title under his belt.
But it was his move to Manchester United that elevated him to superstar status in England and he will always be a player who generates mixed emotions among the Leeds faithful.
Had he stayed at Elland Road, things could have gone very differently for both Leeds and for Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure at Old Trafford, but we will never know.
One thing we do now know is Cantona clearly respected Scottish international Gary McAllister; if only they got to play alongside each other for longer than a single year.
