Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has sent a message to West Ham United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard on Instagram following his performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

Lingard, who joined West Ham on loan from Premier League rivals United in the January transfer window, played well in the London derby against Tottenham on Sunday.

The 28-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, scored the second goal for the Hammers in the opening minutes of the second half.

West Ham won 2-1, and Lingard has revelled in the win on Instagram, with Bailly responding to his post.

Flourishing at West Ham United

Lingard struggled to get much playing time at United in the first half of the season, but the attacker is now flourishing at West Ham.
