Glasgow Rangers arranged a behind closed-door match against Coleraine on Thursday, where they won 5-0 at Murray Park.

Coleraine striker, Eoin Bradley, was impressed by Rangers’ new signings – Fabio Cardoso and Dalcio.

The 33-year-old has got his heart set on a dream Europa League clash against Rangers. The draw will be made on Monday.

Bradley, who is a Celtic fan, admitted that Coleraine have missed several good chances, and that a 5-3 scoreline would have been a more accurate reflection of the match.

While he understands that it is hard to judge a player based on 45 minutes of pre-season football, the striker insisted that it was a great experience to play against Rangers’ Portuguese duo.

Bradley said that both the players looked comfortable on the ball, and will turn out to be good signings for the club.

He was particularly impressed with Cardoso, and thinks the 23-year-old centre-back will benefit greatly by having Portugal great Bruno Alves alongside him, in defence.

“I was impressed enough with the Portuguese boys and they both look as if they will be good signings and do a real job for Rangers,” said Bradley, as quoted by the Daily Record.

“I think Cardoso in particular will benefit greatly from having the vastly experienced Bruno Alves alongside him in central defence.

“Cardoso is only 23 but you can see that there is a real tidy player in there. Dalcio flitted in and out of proceedings but he has a really nice touch and looked handy enough.”
