The Irishman recently scored a brace for the Leeds United under-23s.

Yesterday saw Leeds United’s under-23s pick up their first league win since November, defeating Colchester United 3-0 away from home.
Irish forward Eoghan Stokes was the star attraction. The 20-year-old attacker scored two goals in the game, with Mallik Wilks scoring the other, as Leeds picked up this important win.
Stokes has been knocking on the door of the Leeds first-team for a number of seasons now but has still not featured for the first-team in a competitive fixture.
This performance therefore came at a vital moment for the Irishman.

He is out of contract at Leeds this summer and is facing a fight to convince the hierarchy at Leeds that he has a long-term future at the club.
He has been at the club since 2012, but turns 21 later this month and has perhaps not done enough to earn a new deal.
Perhaps he is deserving of a chance to shine in the club’s final game of the Championship season against Wigan Athletic this weekend.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk before the match
With Leeds needing a miracle to qualify for the play-off places Garry Monk would be wise to use this opportunity to see of Stokes, fresh off the back of his brace, has what it takes to play first-team football at Elland Road.
If not, it seems likely he will be leaving the club this summer.
