The young forward recently signed a new deal at Leeds United.

Leeds United youngster Eoghan Stokes has been speaking to the club’s official website after he signed a new one-year contract at the club.
The striker impressed for the Whites at under-21 level last season and he will now be hoping to impress new Leeds manager Garry Monk ahead of the next campaign.

Stokes is a Republic of Ireland under-19 international, and having scored four goals in nine matches at that level, as well as some fine strikes for Leeds’ second string, the future looks very bright for him.
Speaking after committing to the club for another 12 months, Stokes told leedsunited.com, “Hopefully I can kick forward now and push towards the first-team.
“It’s been good to come straight back into training with the first-team and hopefully I’ll stay there for the whole season and make an impression.”

Some Leeds fans were calling for Stokes’ inclusion in the final few games of the last campaign with little left to play for, but the 20-year-old had to wait for his debut under former boss Steve Evans.
Still, if he impresses in training as he has done for the under-21s it would be no surprise to see him get some time on the pitch in the coming months and from there anything is possible.
