Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has allowed the defender to leave the Bhoys for Walsall on loan.
Eoghan O’Connell has told the Express & Star he is yet to talk to Celtic about his future at Parkhead.
The Irish defender moved on loan to Walsall earlier this month and, as things stand, will become a free agent from July 1.
O’Connell has made seven appearances for Celtic this season, of which one was against Barcelona in the Champions League group stage, but admitted he is unsure as to where he’ll be plying his trade next term.
“I’m not too sure what’s going to happen next season,” the 21-year-old told the Express & Star.

“My contract is up at the end of the season and we’ve not really spoken about it up there.”
It has been a case of so-far-so-good for O’Connell at Walsall, having helped his side to two wins from two against Sheffield United and Bristol Rovers, against whom he scored his first career goal.
Should the Irishman maintain his current form, there is unlikely to be a shortage of suitors come the summer transfer window.
However, with experienced pair Efe Ambrose and Kolo Toure also out of contract, it would be wise of Celtic to extend O’Connell’s deal.

The Republic of Ireland international signed for the Bhoys in 2013 from Cork-based Avondale United.
