It looks like Jose Enrique is well board with the idea of Liverpool signing Patson Daka.
Liverpool are heavily linked with a move for the Red Bull Salzburg hitman, who scored 34 goals in all competitions last season.
According to Sky Germany, the Reds have been joined in the race for his signature by Chelsea.
But the Zambian Observer from the 22-year-old homeland reported that his move to Anfield could be sealed as early as this week.
Scoring 34 goals in 42 games across all competitions for the Austrian outfit is one hell of a return.
And former Liverpool left-back Enrique seems like he’s all for a move to Merseyside. Here’s what he said on Instagram:
Exciting
What an exciting piece of business this could be for the Anfield side.
We all know that defensive problems cost Liverpool a much more respectable Premier League title defence this past season, with Jurgen Klopp’s side settling for a top-four finish on the last day of the season.
But make no mistake about it, Liverpool also had problems at the other end which went under the radar a little.
Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane only scored 25 goals between them all year and somebody of Daka’s talent will certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons if it materialises.
