Leeds United owner had been linked with investing in Italian club.

A bombshell article in the Financial Times over the weekend claimed PSG’s Qatari owners were planning to buy Leeds United.
The report also claimed current Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani could look to invest his money in Italian side Genoa.
After narrowly escaping relegation from Serie A on goal difference, Genoa chairman Enrico Preziosi has dismissed the claim.
Speaking to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Preziosi said: “If there were to be someone who was more capable and had sufficient means, I would sell, but the story of the owner of Leeds is a hoax.”
Radrizzani took over a controlling stake in Leeds in 2017 from Massimo Cellino.

He has taken Leeds forward, on and off the pitch, but not quite managing to achieve his goal of promotion to the Premier League.
Attracting more investment to the club would certainly help, but it’s unclear whether he would want to relinquish control, and it appears the Genoa aspect of the report can be ruled out at present.
