The Port Vale attacker suffered the injury against Colchester earlier in the month.
Last month it was reported that Tottenham Hotspur were be considering a move for Enoch Andoh in the January transfer window, in what would have been a shock switch for the 22-year-old.
It was reported by The Sunday People, as cited by the Daily Star, that Tottenham were prepared to make a £2.5 million move for the player in the winter.
Andoh currently plays in League One with Port Vale and his signature would certainly have caused a stir.
The Ghanaian is a former FC Porto youngster who joined up with Port Vale last November – following a release from Cypriot club AEL Limassol.
He did not feature for the club at all last season, but after getting his match fitness up to scratch in pre-season he has become one of the better players during the early stages of the League One campaign.
It looked like a great story, as Tottenham considered a gamble on a talented attacking midfielder with the ability to go on and become a star.
Unfortunately that star has been, temporarily at least, extinguished. The Tottenham Hotspur target has ruptured knee ligaments and will miss the rest of the season with Port Vale – putting any potential Spurs move well and truly in the bin for now.
Hopefully he will recover and come back stronger but as for a Tottenham move, that now seems a long way off.
