West Ham United boss David Moyes has told Football London that he was impressed by Tottenham Hotspur duo Hugo Lloris and Heung-Min Son last night.

Lloris and Son squared up to each other, just before half-time during Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Everton.

Lloris felt that Son had not put in enough defensive work, which allowed Richarlison the space to have a shot from range.

And Moyes says that he was pleased to see the Tottenham pair showing so much passion for the game.

“Players really care. If they see something wrong, they care. Digging people out is a dying art,” Moyes said.

“I think Jose said it was great and watching it, I enjoyed it as well. Even without the passion and support there, the players were showing it on the pitch.”

Lloris and Son had made up by the end of the game, with the pair hugging after Tottenham secured the three points.

Jose Mourinho also came out and defended his players in his post-match interview, insisting that he wants his squad to start demanding more of each other.

Tottenham have had a disappointing campaign this term, and currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League table.
