Leeds United duo Kalvin Phillips and Luke Ayling have congratulated Rangers striker Kemar Roofe on Instagram on winning the title with Steven Gerrard’s side.
Celtic’s failure to win against Dundee United today has confirmed Rangers as the champions of Scotland.
The Gers are unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership this season and have been the best team in the country.
Roofe joined Rangers from Anderlecht in the summer of 2020, and his success with the Gers has made Leeds duo Phillips and Ayling very happy.
The 28-year-old striker was on the books of Leeds in England from 2016 until 2019.
According to WhoScored, Roofe has made 13 starts and five substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in the process.

The striker has also made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for the Gers this campaign, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Rangers will take on Slavia Prague in the Europa League Round of 16 and will be determined to progress from the tie.
