HITC Sport understands a number of clubs are weighing up moves for former Arsenal and Bolton defender Chiori Johnson.

A host of clubs in England, Scotland and abroad are considering moves for free agent defender Chiori Johnson, HITC Sport understands.
Johnson is available as a free agent after leaving Bolton Wanderers earlier this summer following one-year at the club.
The 21-year-old decided to leave Bolton in the summer due to the uncertainty surrounding the club’s long-term future as the club with the Trotters only being saved at the end of August following Football Ventures’ successful takeover.
Versatile defender Johnson joined Bolton on a free transfer in the summer of 2018 after impressing on trial, however he never made a first-team appearance during his time at Bolton.

Johnson came through the youth ranks at Arsenal and signed a professional contract at the Emirates in 2015.
The defender, who can play anywhere across the backline, was a regular in Arsenal’s Under-23s side, but he failed to break into the Gunners’ star-studded first-team.
A number of sides in England and Scotland are looking to strengthen their defensive options and Johnson fits the bill due to his availability on a free transfer and his versatility in that he can play in several positions.
