It has been quite the week for Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold after he helped England thrash San Marino 10-0 on Monday.
The creative Liverpool player can’t help but deal with what is put in front of him, even if it is the worst team in the world, as was the case yesterday.
But there’s no doubt that the in-form right-back would have found training a lot tougher than England’s recent international outing.
Going by the footage posted by England’s official YouTube channel, Alexander-Arnold was enjoying himself in training.
As you would expect with the Anfield academy product, he was being a nuisance in the final third.
At one point in training, just after ten minutes in, Alexander-Arnold receives the ball and is then fronted by none other than Jude Bellingham.
The Dortmund superstar, who is a rumoured Liverpool target, soon found himself flat on his backside after Alexander-Arnold pretended to use the ball with his left foot, whilst on the left channel, before taking it on his right and finding a pass for Tammy Abraham who was five yards out.
Abraham couldn’t get his shot away and the ball eventually landed back into the path of the Liverpool man.
Once again, he did incredibly well to shield the ball away, this time from Bukayo Saka, before Bellingham got up from the deck and blocked his shot that ended up over the crossbar.
There aren’t many better right-backs in world football than TAA, and one of them is probably with him in the England set-up.
Reece James started England’s win against Albania last week and the Chelsea man has been in stunning form for his country this season.
All of this stems from last season and the Chelsea academy product helping his team win the European Cup.
But TAA would point towards being that bit more proven than his fellow countryman.
