England are just one game away from the final of Euro 2020.

Gareth Southgate hasn’t been afraid to make big calls this summer and they’ve all paid off.

Now he’s got another huge decision to make against Denmark. Does he keep the back four from the win over Ukraine or revert to the back five which beat Germany?

Both Germany and Ukraine started with a back five; at Wembley, Southgate matched Jogi Low up, in Rome, he didn’t.

Denmark also play with a back five, but are not afraid to switch systems in-game. Andreas Christensen moved from centre half to holding midfield in the 4-0 win against Wales.

We don’t know what Southgate will do and are still awaiting concrete reports either way.

Our best guess is that he’ll revert to the back five, neutralising Denmark’s wing-backs and backing his forwards to get the job done.

Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane will start, but who will round off the frontline?

Southgate hasn’t been scared to shake things up in that regard; Bukayo Saka, Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho have all had starts.

Phil Foden hasn’t played since the 0-0 draw with Scotland but that means he should be fresh as a daisy now.

We’ve got him down as a wildcard pick, coming in for Mason Mount. We’ve got Kieran Trippier in for Sancho.

It could be a back four which Southgate picks to get the job done and if it is, he’s earned the trust of the nation and hopefully we’ll avoid the typical Twitter pile-on when the team news comes out.
