It was a good day for one Tottenham Hotspur player last night, and not so good for another.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick as England thumped Bulgaria 4-0 at Wembley in Euro 2020 qualifying.

The Tottenham hitman received plenty of post-match plaudits but it was a different story for his Spurs team-mate, Danny Rose.

Here’s how they reacted to his performance on Twitter:

It hasn’t been a brilliant start to the season for the long-serving Tottenham defender.

Thing is, he can’t really afford to be sluggish, after Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino signed Ryan Sessegnon – presently injured – this past summer.

Sessegnon is the younger, much more exciting player right now and unless Rose improves, Pochettino won’t hesitate in using his new signing once he’s fit.
