England fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to share their opinion of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere’s display against Australia.
The Arsenal star was handed a starting place for the warm up clash against Australia at the Stadium of Light on Friday.
There are doubts about whether he should be part of the final squad that travels to Euro 2016 this summer, given he missed nearly all of this past season through injury.

These warm up games are his opportunity to prove his fitness to England manager Roy Hodgson and secure his place on the plane to France.
In a 45 minute display he did his chances no harm either, looking assured in the defensive midfield role for the side.

It will now be interesting to see if Wilshere is in the final squad that Hodgson will announce at the end of the month.
There is no denying his quality, but the England boss will surely be considering whether he can risk having a potential injury risk in his selection.
