Tottenham Hotspur midfielder blasted for performance.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier’s performance was slated by fans after the Three Lions’ narrow win over Switzerland.
England won the game 1-0 through a goal from Marcus Rashford.
The match itself was fairly dull, with England struggling to break down a dour Swiss side who did not offer much of an attacking threat themselves.
Dier was one of two Tottenham players to feature, starting in midfield with Danny Rose at left-back.
The Spurs midfielder had three shots at goal, all of which missed the target.
In possession Dier was safe, completing more than 97 per cent of his passes.

Dier was a regular for England at the World Cup as they reached the semi-finals.
Last night he captained the Three Lions, a further show of faith from manager Gareth Southgate.
While Southgate is a big supporter of his, England fans are not convinced, with Dier taking a barrage of criticism of social media.
