Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Leon Goretzka.

Germany’s general manager Oliver Bierhoff has told The Guardian that Schalke’s Leon Goretzka will be ‘moving to England’ as a result of the money in the Premier League.
Germany travel to London to take on England at Wembley Stadium on Friday night, with both teams ramping up their preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia having already qualified.
A number of the Germany squad – such as Antonio Rudiger, Mesut Ozil, Emre Can, Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane – play for Premier League clubs, meaning this fixture will be extra-important to those players.

A host of others players have been linked with moves to the Premier League, and one such German international to be touted for a switch to England is Schalke star Leon Goretzka.
The 22-year-old, who joined Schalke from hometown club VfL Bochum in 2013, has notched four goals in nine Bundesliga games this season, as well as a quite stunning record of six goals in 12 caps for Germany.
The midfielder looks set to move on in 2018, given that his Schalke contract expires at the end of the season, and clubs around Europe are no doubt sensing a bargain free transfer deal.
Oliver Bierhoff, general manager of the German national football team
The Mirror recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Goretzka, having sent scouts to watch a host of Schalke games this season, whilst North London rivals Arsenal are also keen.
Now, Germany’s general manager Oliver Bierhoff has told The Guardian that he thinks top German talents will end up heading to England due to the amount of money in the Premier League whilst claiming that Goretzka is ‘moving to England’ alongside former Schalke teammate Sane, dropping a major hint that Goretzka’s next destination will be a Premier League team – potentially giving Spurs hope of a deal.
“We feel that England, because of the amount of money you have with TV rights, young talented players like Leroy Sané and [Schalke’s] Leon Goretzka are moving to England and this is not good for our league but also for the quality of our game,” said Bierhoff. “We have to pay attention and invest again and again in the education of our coaches,” he added.
