Jamie Carragher has praised Juventus midfielder and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Weston McKennie on Twitter for his performance for the USA against England at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
McKennie, linked with a move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, featured for the USA in their goalless draw with England on Friday evening.
The 24-year-old produced a very dynamic display in the middle of the park.
The American star worked hard, drove the team forward from midfield, broke England’s attacking moves, and was one of the best players on the pitch.
And former Liverpool defender Carragher was impressed, as you can see from his tweet below.
The Sky Sports pundit has also praised Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams and Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic for their performances for the USA against England.

According to CalcioMercato this week, Tottenham are favourites to sign McKennie from Juventus in the January transfer window.
Former Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly willing to sell the American star for €30m (£25m).
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
