Kevin Campbell said on Sky Sports Football (5:37pm, April 12, 2021) that Arsenal-owned Ainsley Maitland-Niles has done well at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Arsenal striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Maitland-Niles and fellow midfielder Okay Yokuslu have made West Brom better and stronger in the middle of the park.
Maitland-Niles, who can also operate as a right-back, joined West Brom on loan from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Yokuslu, 27, moved to the Baggies on loan from Celta de Vigo in the January transfer window as well.
Campbell said on Sky Sports Football (5:37pm, April 12, 2021): “In the midfield, Yokuslu and Maitland-Niles have come in. They have put energy and quality into that midfield. That’s no disrespect to the players who were in there before, but these guys have made a difference.”

Succeeding at West Bromwich Albion
Maitland-Niles is doing well at West Brom at the moment and has established himself as an important player in manager Sam Allardyce’s team.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old has made nine appearances in the Premier League for the Baggies.
What is encouraging for the England international is that he has been deployed in his preferred midfield position.
If West Brom are able to escape the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season and Allardyce remains in charge of the team, then the youngster should seriously consider making his loan deal permanent.
