Everton-owned winger Yannick Bolasie has raved about Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish on Twitter.

Bolasie, on loan at Sporting Lisbon at the moment, made the comment about Grealish just before kickoff in the Premier League game between Liverpool and Villa at Anfield on Sunday.

The 31-year-old DR Congo international, who had a loan spell at Villa during the 2018-19 campaign, played with the 24-year-old, and thinks that he is at a different level.

Stats

Against Liverpool on Sunday, Grealish took two shots of which one was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 78.3%, won one header, took 40 touches, made one tackle and two interceptions, and put in two crosses, according to WhoScored.

So far this season, the 24-year-old – who can also operate as a winger – has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 31 Premier League matches for Villa, according to WhoScored.

The defeat to Liverpool has enhanced Villa’s chances of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
