- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
Brentford striker Ivan Toney is expected to make a move at the end of the season after making his return to Premier League action in January.
HITC understands that Brentford are expecting Ivan Toney to leave this summer – but they will be demanding market value.
HITC revealed earlier this year that Brentford were wanting at least £80million for the England man, although that price has now dropped.
Some reports have claimed Toney could be available for as little as £30million this summer.
However, sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed to HITC that they do not believe that is the case.
Whilst Brentford are not going public with the fee required, it is believed that the Bees would want around £50million for Toney.
Toney scored a penalty for England against Belgium in the international break and is hoping to be on the plane to Euro 2024 in Germany.

Ivan Toney stats
Toney missed the first half of the season having been suspended over gambling breaches.
The 28-year-old made his return to action in January and immediately scored in a 3-2 Brentford win over Nottingham Forest.
Toney has now scored four times in 13 games since his return, whist also adding an assist to his name.
Now without a goal since the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool on February 17th, Toney hasn’t scored in eight games.
HITC understands that a host of clubs are tracking Toney, including Manchester United.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also looked at Toney ahead of the summer transfer window.
Brentford have already signed a striker
Brentford already have their first signing of the summer transfer window on board.
The Bees agreed a deal in February, striking a deal to sign Club Brugge hitman Igor Thiago.
The Brazilian isn’t a household name yet but Brentford are thought to be paying up to £31million for his signature.
Thiago has scored 26 times in all competitions this season, alongside bagging four assists.
The 22-year-old is a significant investment for Brentford and he could play a key role if Toney does move on.
