Arsenal are showing no signs of stopping as they push to win the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta and his players crumbled last season and blew their chances of becoming champions of England.
But Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Brighton on Saturday was further proof that the team have learnt from last season’s collapse.
From back to front, the team has performed out of their skin, with many players stepping up and proving their worth.
There is still a long way to go, even the most ardent of Arsenal fans would understand that, but the signs are positive.
One man who came under serious stick, even before he could don the club’s colours, was big-money summer signing, Kai Havertz.
The 24-year-old scored and assisted during the win at Brighton to take his tally to 14 goal involvements for the campaign.
Emmanuel Petit has sung the player’s praises and how you now now ‘see his quality’ after his transfer from Chelsea, as he told Premier League Productions (06/04/24 at 8:15 pm).
The title-winning midfielder added that Havertz is ‘not the same player’ from what he produced at Stamford Bridge, with the team finishing in the bottom half and now threatening to do the same, whilst his new team pushes for the title.

“Kai Havertz, it’s not the same player that last season who came from Chelsea,” said Petit.
“He arrived in a team that was playing the same football, speaking the same football, with full of confidence and enduring playing together.
“And he regained confidence. Now you can see his quality in front of goal.”
Big moments yet to come
This is far from over, even if two other teams battling it out with Arsenal is suiting their cause because it takes some pressure off them.
But that moment will still come, like the win over Brentford, where they have to score a late goal or perhaps come from behind to win.
It’s just the natural way of how title-winning charges go, and if Arsenal can see through those moments, then the title will be heading to the Emirates. Not forgetting Arsenal’s clash against Tottenham.
What also needs to be noted is that you need your key players fit – William Saliba missing last season was huge and now these type of players need to be wrapped in cotton wool.
