HITC understands Liverpool and Manchester United are both showing an interest in German starlet Bence Dardai.

The Hertha Berlin teenager is rated very highly and HITC understands that a host of clubs are looking closely at the midfielder.

Both Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have been watching Bence Dardai – who has been in Hertha’s first-team this season.

The 18-year-old has played eight league games in Germany’s second tier for a team that is trying to make a return to the promised land.

There are a number of big clubs in 2. Bundesliga, including Hamburger SV, Hannover 96, Hertha and relegation-threatened FC Schalke.

Hertha themselves are sitting in ninth place, seven points off the play-off places, with Bence Dardai supplying one assist.

He has come through the youth academy at Hertha, where his father – Pal Dardai –  is the head coach. He also plays alongside his two elder brothers, Palko and Marton.

Interest from elsewhere for Bence Dardai

Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan and Juventus are already on the trail of Dardai.

Just like at Liverpool, it’s not yet known who will be in charge of Bayern next season, with Thomas Tuchel set to depart.

Added to that, as HITC revealed earlier this year, Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso is one of the names on the list to replace Jurgen Klopp.

So, the managerial merry-go-round in England and Germany is set to hit bumper speed in these coming months, as Europe’s elite clubs make changes to their dugout.
