Leeds United have maintained their quest to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season with a comfortable win against Millwall.
Daniel Farke’s Leeds United beat Millwall 2-0 at Elland Road in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Wilfried Gnonto gave Leeds the lead after 33 minutes. Gnonto found the back of the net with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box. Georginio Rutter provided the assist.
In the 79th minute, Rutter gave the assist for Daniel James to score the second goal for the West Yorkshire club, who are scouting Gent defender Archie Brown.

James scored from close range. The £25 million (Sky Sports) Wales international winger had come on for Gnonto in the 69th minute.
Praise for Leeds United winger Daniel James vs Millwall
Former Leeds defender Leigh Bromby was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and he was impressed by the impact that James made after coming on as a substitute, noting that he did think that the former Manchester United winger was going to do something of note.
Bromby said about James on BBC Radio Leeds: “Well done, Dan James! He’s had the impact we thought he would have. That’s game over.”
Daniel James is a big player for Leeds United
In my opinion, Daniel James is a big player for Leeds United and will play his role for the team in the final weeks of the season.
Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and win automatic promotion to the Premier League.
James has proven to be an important source of goals for the Whites. He has made 24 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Championship this season. James has scored 12 goals and given seven assists in those games.
