Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will beat Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and then Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League this season.
That is according to Arsenal fan and TV personality Piers Morgan, who has backed the Gunners to go all the way in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Morgan made the big prediction on X after the UEFA Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draw on Friday.
Arsenal, who beat FC Porto over two legs in the Round of 16, will take on German giants Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.
Arsenal backed to win UEFA Champions League
The other quarter-final ties will see Real Madrid take on Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain face Barcelona and Atletico Madrid lock horns with Borussia Dortmund.
If Arsenal beat Bayern in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League, then they will face City or Madrid for a place in the final.
Morgan thinks that Arsenal will negotiate their way through to the final and then win against Barcelona to become the champions of Europe.
The Arsenal fan has also earlier predicted Arsenal to beat Liverpool and Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.
My View: Arsenal should not get carried away
In my opinion, Arsenal should not get carried away. Yes, things are going well for the Gunners at the moment, but I think that manager Mikel Arteta and his players need to stay focused and take it one game at a time.
Arsenal have never won the UEFA Champions League. Bayern Munich may be having a torrid season, but they are one of the biggest clubs in the world who have a European pedigree and know how to win major trophies on the continent.
I think that Bayern will beat Arsenal over two legs. As for the Premier League title, the Gunners have to keep on winning their games.
