Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are amongst the Premier League clubs to have watched Lille striker, Jonathan David, sources have told HITC
HITC understands that the Canadian star has admirers from Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United.
Jonathan David has started to hit the best form of his season recently and, since the turn of the year, he has been one of the most in-form strikers in Europe, scoring 10 goals in 11 games.
That has pushed Lille towards a Champions League challenge, with the team only four points behind second-placed Brest.
HITC has also been told that in recent weeks – Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham have all checked on Jonathan David.
The French club recently recorded a 2-2 home draw against Rennes, with their star man up top netting a brace, including a stoppage-time equaliser.

Premier League teams searching for a striker
Every transfer window, it seems as though strikers are in demand and it’s going to be no different for the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham United when the window re-opens.
There is every chance that they all finish in Europe this season, with Tottenham and Arsenal certainties, Erik ten Hag’s side expected to follow suit, baring a collapse, and 11th-placed Chelsea are four points behind seventh-placed West Ham with a game in hand.
Scoring goals has been an issue for Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United this term. Luton have scored more (41 goals) than the Old Trafford-based club (39).
As for the north London duo, they have been free-flowing, with Arsenal the top scorers in the league (70) and Tottenham only bettered by the title-chasing trio (59).
