Darren Bent was discussing the prospect of Harry Kane returning to the Premier League only months after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Tottenham player, who is a boyhood Arsenal fan, suggested alongside Kevin Nolan that the 30-year-old could already leave Bayern Munich amid their struggles.
Harry Kane left in search of trophies, he was supposedly guaranteed it in Munich, but with Thomas Tuchel’s side 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen, it seems as though he will have to wait for much longer.
When talk of who Harry Kane could join was discussed, the name of Arsenal was put forward by West Ham United coach, Kevin Nolan, who described the player as ‘fantastic’.
Darren Bent stated that ‘Arsenal would take him’, but he doesn’t think the England captain himself would be willing to join, as he told talkSPORT.
That’s because of his loyalties to Spurs, but it was also suggested that he was an ‘Arsenal fan’ as a kid.
There is an infamous picture of Harry Kane wearing an Arsenal top when he was young and it’s still following him around to this day.
Harry Kane at Arsenal
“Would Arsenal take him (Kane),” asked Nolan.
Andy Goldstein added: “I don’t think he will go there. Arsenal fan, right? There are pictures of him as a kid in an Arsenal kit.”
Bent responded: “Arsenal would take him, but I don’t think he will go there. There are rumours (that he was an Arsenal fan).”

Winning trophies at Bayer Munich
Look, if Kane had steamrolled to the Bundesliga title this season, then many would have dismissed it because it would have been Bayern’s 12th in a row.
And now, in the likely scenario he is trophy-less, he will get verbally battered, so he is in a lose-lose situation.
But where he can really triumph is in the Champions League. Bayern booked their quarter-final ticket by dispatching Lazio on Tuesday night, so that could be the glimmer of hope for Kane.
If not, he will just have to stay put and that title will be his next season because there is no way Bayern go two seasons without a trophy.
