TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has given his verdict on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The former Crystal Palace owner thinks that Rashford is not the player he is made out to be.
So, what has Simon Jordan said about Manchester United and England international forward Marcus Rashford? Let’s take a look.
Simon Jordan comments on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford
Well, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been making the headlines in recent days, and Simon Jordan has given his verdict on the 26-year-old.
The former Crystal Palace owner does not think that Rashford is a world-class player.

The talkSPORT pundit believes that Rashford is overrated and has been built up to be the player he is not.
Jordan said about Rashford on talkSPORT: “I think he lacks resolution and determination and application, and I do not think that he is as good a player as people have built him up to be, and I think that is also unfortunate because he is characterised in a way that he is a world-class footballer and he is not.”
My View: Marcus Rashford lacks consistency
In my opinion, Marcus Rashford is not a world-class player. While there is no doubt that the Manchester United and England international forward has a lot of ability, he is simply not consistent.
Rashford scored 17 goals and gave five assists in 32 Premier League starts for United last season. In 2021-22, he scored four goals and provided two assists 13 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the league.
Back in 2020-21, the forward scored 11 goals and gave nine assists in 33 Premier League starts. So far this season, the 26-year-old has scored five goals and given two assists in 21 league starts.
Moreover, Rashford is predictable. He is brilliant out wide and then cutting inside. He has pace, but he does not always track back. Against top teams and top players, the 26-year-old can be easy to manage.
