Rio Ferdinand has given his verdict on Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka after watching him in action against Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Manchester United defender and TNT Sports pundit was hugely impressed by how Saka played.

So, what has Rio Ferdinand said about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka? Let’s take a look.

Rio Ferdinand praises Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka after Newcastle United game

Well, Rio Ferdinand has been speaking about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, and the former Manchester United defender seems impressed.

The TNT Sports pundit has noted that Arsenal’s upturn in form has coincided with Saka starting to bang in the goals for fun.

Saka scored in the 65th minute. The 22-year-old has now scored for the fifth Premier League game in a row. Arsenal have won their last six league games.

Ferdinand said about Saka on TNT Sports 1 (10: 25 pm, February 25, 2024): “Well, the goals he is scoring and the impact again he is having on the team is phenomenal, but I think the upturn in form for Arsenal has coincided with Odegaard but also Saka. His form has jumped up again in that time and it has started to really pick up.”

My View: Bukayo Saka is a gem of a player

In my opinion, Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in the world and is one of the most important figures at Arsenal.

What is remarkable about Saka is that he is very consistent and is very reliable. You cannot say that about a lot of 22-year-old players.

Arsenal are aiming to beat Liverpool and Manchester City to the Premier League title this season. I believe that Saka is going to play a big role in that quest.

Saka is in top form now, and the Emirates Stadium faithful will hope that it continues to be so. The winger has scored 13 goals and given seven assists in 25 Premier League matches for Arsenal this season.
