Sources have told HITC that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and West Ham United want to sign Conor Gallagher from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2024.

However, Gallagher’s main priority is to stay at Chelsea, and the midfielder is waiting for a contract offer from the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.

While talks have taken place between Gallagher’s camp and Chelsea’s hierarchy, the Blues giants have not yet offered the England midfielder new terms despite the fact his current deal runs out in the summer of 2025.

HITC understands, and has previously reported, that Gallagher is ready to commit to the club despite interest from elsewhere, including Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham.

Gallagher has come through the Chelsea youth system and has established himself in the first team.

The 24-year-old England international is one of the first names on the Chelsea teammate and is rated highly by head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Earlier this month, Pochettino told BBC Sport: “I think he is a player with a great commitment to the team.

“He is always trying to compensate in every situation, in offensive and defensive situations. It’s priceless to have a player like him.”

The midfielder has also given two assists in four starts and two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup for the Blues this campaign.

Callagher himself has publicly said that he wants to stay at Chelsea and take the Blues back to their glory days.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, the midfielder said: “We’ve got a really young squad, a lot of talent, a great manager, great coaches that just want the best for us.

“I really want to be a big part of it and hopefully get Chelsea back to where they belong.

“There’s another year-and-a-half left on my contract and I absolutely love playing under the manager. Playing almost every game has been incredible and that’s all I’ve ever wanted.

“Last season I was in and out of the team and it wasn’t as enjoyable for that reason and also not playing great when I was.

“I just want to keep playing as much as I can for Chelsea, keep trying to improve the club and try to be successful at Chelsea. That’s the plan for sure.”
