Josh Marsh has agreed to join Chelsea after leaving Championship club Swansea City, HITC understands.
Swansea City confirmed the departure of Josh Marsh on Friday. He was working as the Head of Football Operations at the Welsh club after joining them in June 2022.
Josh Marsh leaves Swansea City
The statement on Swansea’s official website read: “Swansea City can confirm head of football operations Josh Marsh has left his role to pursue other opportunities.
“Marsh joined the club in June 2022 after arriving from fellow Championship side Huddersfield Town.
“Swansea City would like to place on record its thanks to Josh for his efforts during his time at the club and wishes him every success for the future.”
Josh Marsh to join Chelsea
HITC understands that Marsh will now make the move to former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea.
Sources have told us that Marsh has agreed terms with the Blues, who made their move for him earlier this year.

Marsh will become head of loans at BlueCo – primarily working with Chelsea but will help oversee the whole group as it expands. It currently also has French club Strasbourg along with Chelsea, but plans are in place to expand across the world.
Chelsea, who want to sign AC Milan star Rafael Leao in the summer transfer window, are not having the best of times at the moment and are unlikely to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, just like the last campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are 10th in the league table now with 34 points from 24 matches. The London club, who could offload Raheem Sterling at the end of the season, are as many as 13 points off the UEFA Champions League places.
Meanwhile, Swansea currently find themselves 17th in the Championship table with 36 points from 32 matches, just seven points above the relegation zone.
