Clinton Morrison has given his verdict on Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
The former Crystal Palace forward has also noted why United manager Erik ten Hag should be praised.
So, what has Clinton Morrison said about Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo? Let’s take a look.
Praise for Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo
Well, Clinton Morrison has been raving about Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
The former Crystal Palace and Birmingham City forward has been hugely impressed by how well Mainoo is doing for United at the moment.
The Sky Sports pundit has also praised United manager Erik ten Hag for putting his faith in the 18-year-old, who views Bruno Fernandes as a good role model.

Mainoo has come through the United youth academy and is now part of the first team. He could play for England soon.
The teenager has scored one goal in eight Premier League matches and has made two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Red Devils this season.
Mainoo scored a brilliant solo goal to help United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-3 away from home in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Morrison said about Mainoo on Sky Sports: “He is a top player, and this is where you have to credit Ten Hag because, you look, he has brought in the likes of Amrabat, and he was keeping out the likes of Amrabat and McTominay as well in that midfield. I think he is an exciting young player, and they brought him through the academy.”
My View: Let’s be patient with Kobbie Mainoo
In my opinion, Manchester United fans have to be patient with Kobbie Mainoo. I do not think that the midfielder should be put under too much pressure.
Mainoo is only 18 now and is just starting his career. He is getting playing time at the moment and is making an impact.
United are arguably the biggest club in England, and pressure on them is massive. I think that Erik ten Hag should protect Mainoo from feeling that pressure.
In my view, Mainoo should be allowed to grow and develop at his own pace.
