Tottenham Hotspur have officially missed out on the signing of Stanis Idumbo Muzambo after he completed a move from Ajax to Sevilla.
Tottenham have enjoyed a very productive January transfer window with more than two weeks still left to run.
Attacker Timo Werner arrived on loan from RB Leipzig last week, just days before Tottenham struck a deal for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin.
Tottenham have quickly pounced to land two players to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s options with a number of players currently unavailable.

Sevilla beat Tottenham Hotspur to Stanis Idumbo Muzambo deal
Teenager Stanis Idumbo Muzambo is not a household name but had shown some talent in the Ajax ranks.
The former Club Brugge and Gent talent hit three goals in 11 games for Jong Ajax this season and appears to have big potential for the future.
Reports in December indicated that Tottenham had offered a four-year contract to Idumbo Muzambo in the hope of a deal.

Idumbo Muzambo was entering the final six months of his Ajax contract and seemingly wasn’t interested in signing new terms.
Fabrizio Romano added that Tottenham were sending an official proposal to sign Idumbo Muzambo – but so were La Liga side Sevilla.
The transfer race has now been settled as Idumbo Muzambo has decided to sign for Sevilla, completing a move this month rather than in the summer.
Sevilla have confirmed the signing of Idumbo Muzambo on a four-and-a-half-year deal, immediately placing him in their B team – Sevilla Atletico.
The 18-year-old is clearly one for the future and Tottenham would probably have taken similar steps if they had secured his signature.
Only time will tell whether Tottenham have really missed the boat on Idumbo Muzambo, with Sevilla seemingly taking a slow and steady approach with the teenage winger.
Tottenham may well look at other young wingers between now and the end of the transfer window, but will be a little disappointed to have missed out on Idumbo Muzambo.
