Feyenoord have little interest in allowing star striker Santiago Gimenez to leave the club this month, sources have confirmed to HITC Football.
A host of Premier League clubs are tracking the Mexican, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham – whilst a number of clubs in Europe are also keeping close tabs on his progress, with Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Monaco amongst those who are keen.

However, sources close to the Dutch club have told HITC Football that they have little appetite to look at a deal this summer and it would take a ‘sizeable’ offer for them to sell this month.
Feyenoord believe that Gimenez is one of the best young strikers in the world, and want to be compensated when he does leave and that is understood to be close to be £40m at least.
And with that fee in mind, HITC Football can confirm that none of his Premier League suitors are currently planning to spend such sums this month.
Feyenoord will sell
Speaking to Spanish paper Marca this week, Gimenez knows that Feyenoord will sell him for the best price.
“Starting in Europe here was a success. They have gotten the most out of me and I know they want to see me grow to sell me at the highest price possible. It is a reality that clubs live off of that.
“There is the path, and I am very calm in that aspect.”
Feyenoord coach Arne Slot spoke last week about the current situation with Gimenez and he admits he will be sold when the club are ready, but joked he would walk away if they did.
“If it is best for the club that he is sold, then so be it,” he said.
“Of course I will give my arguments, but it is not the case that if Dennis [te Kloese, the chief executive] convinces me that it must be done, I will hand in my contract the next day.
“Of course, everyone understands that we prefer to sell at the end of the season. But if an offer is made that cannot be refused, so that we can also pay salaries and transfer fees in the future, as the competition does, then we as Feyenoord may also be able to take the next step.”
